En valuta er konvertibel, når den kan veksles til en anden valuta uden restriktioner, uanset hvem der har pengene og uden særlig tilladelse fra myndighederne.
Konveksitet. Varighedens følsomhed over for store renteændringer. Varighed (duration) er et udtryk for obligationskursernes følsomhed over for små renteændringer. Konveksiteten udtrykker ’forvrængningen’, hvis renteændringerne er store. Positiv konveksitet medfører, at varigheden falder ved en rentestigning.
